PRG 04: 11D10N HANOI – HALONG – HUE – HOI AN – HO CHI MINH

DAY 1 : HANOI ARRIVAL

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, meet up our tour guide with private car and transfer to Hanoi city centre. Check in hotel after 2pm. Free at your leisure in Ha Noi Old Quarters.

DAY 2: HANOI FULL DAY CITY TOUR  (B)

Ho Chi Minh Complex, the heart of Vietnamese people

Ho Chi Minh complex consists of Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (close on Monday), Ba Dinh square, Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s Residence , One pillar pagoda …

Note: No camera, cell phone, bare-shoulder T-shirts, or mini skirts are allowed inside Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

Temple of Literature – being an ancient school of Thang L           ong and the first university in Vietnam, It is acknowledged as an ancient historical-cultural heritage which gives tourists deeper understanding about Hanoi’s years of culture and tradition.

Vietnam Museum of Ethnology where you can look into a vivid picture of the miniaturized Vietnamese ethnic community’s life. It is composed of 54 ethnic groupsfifty ethnic minorities with different and colorful culture. Vietnam Ethnology Museum is the perfect place to learn more about the diversity in ethnic communities of Vietnam.

Enjoy a cyclo tour to explore Hanoi Old Quarters – the top special historical vestige and the streets have a nearly 1,000-year old history. Exploring the locals’ daily life, the old-style narrow streets and houses, the colorful souvenir shops …

Enjoy Water Puppet Show – a tradition that dates back as far as the 11th century . The theme of the skits is rural and has a strong reference to Vietnamese folklore. It tells stories of the harvest, of fishing and of festivals are highlighted.

DAY 3 : HANOI – HALONG ON CRUISE    (B/L/D)

In the morning, our tour guide pick you at hotel and transfer to Ha Long Bay.

The permanent beauty of Ha Long is created by three factors: stone, water and sky. Ha Long Bay includes its infinitely rich system of grottoes and caves such as: Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Grotto), Dau Go (Driftwood Grotto), Sung Sot (Surprise Grotto), Tam Cung (Three Palace Grotto), Trinh Nu (Virgin Grotto)… Each is a grandiose and refined natural architectural creation.

While exploring the bay, tourists will feel lost in a legendary world of stone islands which shapes change depending on the angle and the light.

Welcomed and check-in boat at noon, your seafood lunch will be served while the cruise slowly slides on romantic waves of the sea. Afternoon is time for many interesting activities such as: visiting the cave, kayaking, swimming, sunbathing, cooking class…

Enjoy special dinner dish and continuing night program with the crew.

DAY 4 : HA LONG – HANOI – FLY TO HUE CITY   (B/Brunch)

Start-up your new day with Tai Chi instruction or just do sunbathing on sundeck and feeling the magnificent dawn scene surrounding, then having breakfast and following cruise’s itinerary (visit cave or floating village…). Brunch/or lunch will be served on board before returning on the coast around 11h00.

Transfer to Hanoi Airport for domestic flight to Hue city.

 

Upon arrival Hue, meet up our local guide and transfer to check in hotel.

DAY 5 : HUE CITY TOUR – DA NANG – HOI AN                (B)

In the morning, start to visit Hue Capital Citadel (Royal Citadel) – a UNESCO World Heritage site – standing for over 200 years and consisting of over 100 fascinating architectural works almost remained unchanged, the Royal Citadel is an ideal place for those wishing to better understand an architectural and cultural beauty as well as an important history of Vietnam.

Travel to the tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh –  one of the most beautiful and picturesque and largest works of architecture of Nguyen Dynasty’s royal palaces and tombs.

In the afternoon, continue to Da Nang city and visit Champa Museum – the most special collection of Champa sculptures  in central Vietnam. The next stop is Marble Moutain with famous traditional carving village to to see skillful marble products by talent artists.

Arrival Hoi An in evening. Check in your hotel.

DAY 6 : HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN & TRADITIONAL VILLAGES                    (B)

Explore Hoi An Ancient Town – an Eastern oriental classic captivation. With the strategic location on the banks of the great river, with one seaside border (East), it used to be one of the major trading centers in Southeast Asia during the 16th century due to the early western trader occupying period.

Visit the traditional architecture and relaxed lifestyle, the centuries-old homes of merchants, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful, bustling market…

Enjoy a boat trip on Thu Bon River to visit Thanh Ha Pottery Village, you will visit a space of traditional occupational village preserved intact in cultural scenery. Continue to visit Kim Bong Carpentry Village – be the excellent combination of Cham kingdom, China, Japanese… and of course the talented hands of Vietnamese craftmen.

DAY 8 : HOI AN – FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY       (B)  

Free in the morning. Check out hotel before 12pm.

PM: Transfer to airport to take afternoon flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Our local guide pick you and transfer to city center.

We start the trip by visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, followed by exploring the Reunification Palace, and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum. Walking to Ben Thanh Market one of the most typical symbol of Saigon to experience the daily life of the locals.

DAY 9: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA TOUR – HO CHI MINH     (B)

Our tour guide with private car pick you at hotel and transfer to My Tho province.

Upon arrial to My Tho, take a motor boat on the upper part of the Mekong River (Tien River ) to see the fish market and the floating fish farm. Enjoy the view of Dragon, Phoenix, Unicorn, and Turtle islands as well.

Cross the Mekong River to Bến Tre province. Enter Rạch Xếp natural canal, which is fully covered with water coconuts. Visit orchards and bee farms to taste pure honey and honey wine. Stop by a coconut candy mill to indulge in this tasty snack while seeing how it is made.

Visit Nam Bo house (traditional Southern Vietnamese houses) by Horse Carriage (Or Ride a Bike)  under the coconut village ) and take a walk around the fruit garden: taste the  seasonal fruits as you enjoy a traditional South Vietnamese musical performance. Enjoy a memorizing rowing boat trip through small canals under the shadow of coconut palms.

DAY 10: HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNELS                      (B)

Morning, our tour guide with private car will pick you at hotel and transfer to visit Cu Chi Tunnels – a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign tourists – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens.

Return to Ho Chi Minh in the afternoon, free at your leisure.

DAY 11 : HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE    (B)

Breakfast at your hotel. Check out time before 12h00 pm.

Pick you at hotel and transfer to airport for your departure flight.
