PRG 02: 12D11N VIETNAM IN STYLE

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH ARRIVAL

On arrival to the Tan Son Nhat airport. Transfer to the hotel. Day at leisure in the capital.

DAY 2: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA TOUR BY SPEEDBOAT & UNIQUE VINTAGE VESPA TOUR              (B,L,D)

07:30 am Pick-up at the customers’ hotel and transfer to Tan Cang pier by Saigon River Tour’s comfortable minivan.

08:00 am Depart to Mekong Delta (Ben Tre) by luxury speedboat. When on board, enjoy a light breakfast of The Pat’ a Chou cake with Lavie water, enjoy the fresh air and understand the daily life of local citizens living along the river banks.

08:45 am Arrive to Mekong Delta Area (Long An):

Leave the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City, walk inside the local market in Long An province. You will understand more about the local daily life and what typical fruits they have. We are sure you might find something you haven’t seen before! Great time for photo shots.

– Try some of their typical fruits and keep cruising to Ben Tre province (Real Mekong Delta Area).

– Experience the peaceful atmosphere of water region by rowing a small boat through small canals with the conical hat.

– Taste special wines of Snake/ Scorpion (optional).

– Hearing the story about the local plantations and their “friendly” bees.

– Enjoy a cup of honey tea from local family recipe.

– Listen to the Southern traditional folk music was handed down for over 100 years (listed by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage of the world – Don Ca Tai Tu).

– Get on the Vietnamese Lambro tuk-tuk (vehicle using for schools and works), and ride in the winding village road to see the local houses & gardens.

– Visit a small family business of coconut candies, hearing how they use every ounce coconuts for their life.

    01:00 pm Cruise to Diem Phuong restaurant and enjoy your Vietnamese traditional lunch with delicious  7-courses: Elephant-Ear fish (one very special dish in Mekong Delta), rice-paper served with fish sauce and other dishes.

    02:00 pm Finish lunch and head to Saigon.

    04:00 pm Arrive back to Saigon to be dropped off at your place of stay.

DAY 3: HO CHI MINH – FLY TO DA NANG – HOI AN          (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Check out before 12pm.

Transfer to airport to take flight to Da Nang city Hoi An.

Pick up at airport, tranfer for exploring Hoi An Ancient Town – an Eastern oriental classic captivation. With the strategic location on the banks of the great river, with one seaside border (East), it used to be one of the major trading centers in Southeast Asia during the 16th century due to the early western trader occupying period.

Visit the traditional architecture and relaxed lifestyle, the centuries-old homes of merchants, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful, bustling market …

DAY 6: HOI AN – DA NANG – HUE           (B)

In the morning, transfer to Hue city via Lang Co Beach – a stop-over at Lang Co Bay, which lies between Da Nang and Hue cities on the central coast. Visitors flock to Lang Co beach to seek for a wonderful landscape created by both nature and humans.

PM: Take a boat trip along Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda situated on the north bank of the Perfume River. It is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved religious sites – a symbol of Hue city.

DAY 7: HUE CITY – FLY TO HANOI            (B)

Go to visit Hue Capital Citadel (Royal Citadel) – a UNESCO World Heritage site – standing for over 200 years and consisting of over 100 fascinating architectural works almost remained unchanged, the Royal Citadel is an ideal place for those wishing to better understand an architectural and cultural beauty as well as an important history of Vietnam.

Travel to the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc (1848-1883) – one of the most beautiful and picturesque and largest works of architecture of Nguyen Dynasty’s royal palaces and tombs. Stop at Dong Ba Market to see the daily life of local people.

Transfer to airport to take flight to Hanoi. Our tour guide pick you to your hotel in Hanoi city centre.

We take a walking tour to see Hanoi’s Old Quarters – the top special historical vestige and the streets have a nearly 1,000-year old history. Exploring the locals’ daily life, the old-style narrow streets and houses, the colorful souvenir shops.

DAY 8: HANOI – DISCOVER MAI CHAU LANDSCAPE & THAI ETHNIC CULTURE      (B)

Depart from Hanoi to Mai Chau – an idyllic valley home to many hill tribes including the Dzao, Muong and Thai. Arrive in Mai Chau around noon, check in your room.

In the afternoon, cycle to explore Mai Chau beautiful ethnic villages including Na Thia, Nhot, Pom Coong, Lac and Chieng Chau villages. Be welcomed by the friendly local people, talk with them and discover their traditional culture. Total cycling time is around 2 – 3 hours on flat village paths. Take it all in: the spectacular scenery of Mai Chau and the relaxed rhythm of local life.

For evening enjoyment, you may choose to take part in a traditional dance show with Ruou Can (a local wine), a cooking class, a weaving class or all (own expense).

DAY 9: MAI CHAU RELAX – HA NOI         (B)

After breakfast, spend full morning to relax with the comfort of your room or unwind at our swimming pool & massage centre (optional). You can also choose to explore the surroundings on your own. Check out around 12.pm and transfer back to Hanoi.

Enjoy a Water Puppet Show – a tradition that dates back as far as the 11th century. It tells of day-to-day living in rural Vietnam and Vietnamese folk tales that are told by grandparents to their grandchildren. Stories of the harvest, of fishing and of festivals are highlighted.

DAY 10: HANOI – HALONG BAY – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE    (B/L/D)

Pick up at hotel, transfer to Ha Long Bay – Recognized by Unesco as a World Heritage Site since 1994 for it thousands of natural islands and one of the most magnificent scenic spots in Vietnam as well.

The permanent beauty of Ha Long is created by three factors: stone, water and sky.

Ha Long Bay includes its infinitely rich system of grottoes and caves such as: Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Grotto), Dau Go (Driftwood Grotto), Sung Sot (Surprise Grotto), Tam Cung (Three Palace Grotto), Trinh Nu (Virgin Grotto)… Each is a grandiose and refined natural architectural creation.

While exploring the bay, tourists will feel lost in a legendary world of stone islands which shapes change depending on the angle and the light.

Welcomed and check-in boat at noon, your seafood lunch will be served while the cruise slowly slides on romantic waves of the sea.

Afternoon is time for many interesting activities such as: visiting the cave, kayaking, swimming, sunbathing, cooking class… Enjoy special dinner dish and continuing night program with the crew.

DAY 11: HALONG BAY – HA NOI    (B/Brunch)

Start-up your new day with Tai Chi instruction or just do sunbathing on sundeck and feeling the magnificent dawn scene surrounding, then having breakfast and following cruise’s itinerary (visit cave or floating village…).

Cruising on the deep and clear blue waters of the sea while marveling at the wonderful landscapes of mighty islands and green islets will surely make that vacation a special one.

Brunch/or lunch will be served on board before check out time around 11h00.

You will be returned to the main harbor before transferring to our awaiting vehicle.

DAY 12: HANOI DEPARTURE     (B)

Transfer to airport to take departure flight. We do hope you enjoy the trip very much.
